Download the flyer here: English - Español On Tuesday, March 14, 2006, restaurants in Chicago, Champaign-Urbana, Flossmoor, Peoria, Springfield and Southern Illinois will participate in Share a Meal with Community Shares to help raise funds for dozens of community groups working to address homelessness, domestic violence, hunger, health care and other important community needs. You can help by enjoying a wonderful meal with family, friends or co-workers at one of the participating restaurants listed below. In return, restaurants will donate 30% of their proceeds to Community Shares of Illinois and our member organizations. As a diner, you can designate a portion of your bill to one of the many benefiting charities. www.share-a-meal.org |

By purchasing your tickets through Pediatric AIDS Chicago your donation will benefit our grant making and prevention efforts. Tickets are available for two performances of The Color Purple at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St. Sunday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. or Friday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for either show are $150 and are limited, especially for Friday, May 4. Purses from local and national designers will be offered at a fraction of their retail value with styles, fabrics, and designs to please every taste. Chicago-area boutiques and retailers such as Krista K, Red Head Boutique, Josephine and Elements participated in last year?s event. All purses have been donated by local boutiques and retailers with 100% of the proceeds supporting the mission of Pediatric AIDS Chicago.
